ENERGY SURCHARGE

EUROPE > ALICANTE AND BARCELONA , SPAIN

Dear Customer:

With the price of oil in Europe reducing over the last six months, consequently the cost of the Natural Gas used in our Spanish plants has decreased to a more reasonable level.

As a result and effective immediately (26th January 2009) the Energy Surcharge that was implemented in summer 2008 is suspended for the all product grades produced in Alicante and Rubí (Barcelona).

In the event that the price of oil (Brent barrel) increases significantly once more, World Minerals reserves the right to re-establish an energy surcharge mechanism.

Any change in the surcharge becomes effective the 26th day of each month.
